January is my birthday month, so I’m trying to decide which new start I should do. . . . I’ve pulled 68 kits and/or charts to show . . . which one should be my new birthday start?!?

I just found your channel and look forward to watching! Just a comment to add about the age thing..I’m 70 but keep thinking I’m 50🤣. I don’t even think of downsizing my projects or not stitching as much. I’ll stitch as long as I can! I do volunteer work with amazing 90 yr olds who still give tours (in our museum) and are WORKING. They are my inspiration! Stay busy and active=staying and feeling young. Stitch all you want!

So much to choose from. Several I’m stitching now, a few I know I will get to in the future, but for me the stand-out was one I haven’t seen before. That’s the Celtic Band Sampler, it’s gorgeous. I need to find that chart!!

Happy Birthday 🎈. I enjoyed seeing all of your kits and charts. I would stitch a piece that you have fully kitted, and I would not stitch Christmas right now. I also try to stitch projects that I have kitted up with silks so that I can reduce the value of my kitted inventory.

Indigo Lane is a favorite. Not too big and very doable to finish before you turn 69. You inspired me to purchase Celtic Band Sampler. Hope you start it for your anniversary.

Fun to watch! Also dangerous to watch! Haha. Yes, I paused and ordered Plum Street Sampler House III. That being said, my favorite of all is the Brick House by Brenda Gervais, which was my New Year start this year. My second choice is the LaDeDa Let Love Abide that you showed third from the very last. I have had that one for a long time, kitted with Cedar River linen Albarium. Just haven’t started it yet, but I will sometime soon. My third choice(s) are the Plum Street Sampler House III along with Betsy’s House and the one in the same pkg with Betsy’s House. Those three would make a nice complimentary combo to honor the good ol’ USA. Have a VERY Happy Birthday!!

Hey Karen, Boy do you have some decision time coming! After all the snow we got in Northeast Tennessee, I should be picking a Snow Day Chart before next week. My birthday is this week and I would have to pull a couple more charts than you did...but I have already decided to start on Teresa Kogut's Serenity Sampler for my birthday start. I have several friends who also have January birthdays and we call ourselves The Garnet Gals because of our birthstone! However, none of them are stitchers...maybe we should have a Zoom Stitching Group of Garnet Gal Stitchers; wouldn't that be fun? I am anxious to see what you choose and I hope you have a Beautiful, Blessed Birthday!
