The thing about Jay is that he holds back alot. We've seen the ninja do crazy stunts. Lloyd with his golden powers. Zanes ability to freeze the overlord. Coles ability to use the spinjitzu burst. And nyas ability to become one with the sea. And the reason kai and Jay never really got those moments is because their comic relief character, they don't take things seriously most of the time and hold back alot of strength. I'd Like to see kai and/or Jay go insane with their powers just like the other ninja did.

Jay has more IQ than Nya for sure
For example: he was inventing different stuff, someone will say well yes, but nya was making mechs and cars
However, jay made a Whole Flying Mechanism, which he didn't know how works, + he did it with a SHIP a vehicle that is the most unstable in the world, and he didn't apply wings, a great achievement
Also Battle IQ also goes to jay, nya just throws any kind of water, but jay, he tried to attack wisely, knowing what his power can do and what can't
