Static analysis in 2-dimensions often requires the calculation of the moment created by a force vector around some arbitrary point. In this video, Dr. Garrett Love explains how to determine the magnitude of a moment by using Varignon's theorem to consider the separate contribution of each component of the vector.

according to principle of moment..1)if system of coplaner forces are in equilibrium then algebric sum of their moment about any point in their plane is zero 2)the algebric sum of moment of any two forces about a point is equal to moment of their resultant about same OPTION IS CORRECT...REPLY FAST
