It’s so woven into the world. Not just food. Think of all the places that plastic is used. It seems to me impossible to remove plastic. When it was first being used, in the very beginning or even before, there should of been a plan in place for recycling it and disposing of it.
Hospitals, automobiles, toys, clothes, tags, signs, schools, buildings of every type, homes, art. It’s endless at this point. Very sad and scary.

Why can’t people go back to glass ? I remember drinking sodas out of glass bottles it was the best because glass insulates it stayed cold!

Really appreciate you talking about this! It’s one of the reasons why I think it’s great to grow your own food if you have the means. I over wintered my kale and didn’t have to buy kale for 2 years. Yummy juices, smoothies, kale chips, and soup with no plastics.

Don’t forget cockroaches. yeah I was shocked too but my allergist told me most kids she sees are actually allergic to those and not the processed food. I don’t remember the statistics she listed, but essentially if you’re buying/eating something made mass scale in a factory, every single box has at least parts of cockroaches and maybe other bugs. But you wouldn’t know because they get processed like the food itself 🤢
