I’d love to see a video of how to make a sketchbook with 2 full sheets. I use to buy them that way and tear them in quarters. But now I’ve been painting in sketchbooks mostly and have a lot of those sheets just sitting there. Also, your iris with Michael’s class yesterday was really good and I pretty much followed along in real time. It looks great and I always think that is the toughest flower to do. I’m going to do it again in a different color just to remember all the ways you added dimension to it. Great Saturday chat today! Thanks so much Lindsay!

The tomato in crystal bowl is lovely! You are totally right, use the good stuff daily. A couple of years ago I got rid of my regular drinking glasses & replaced them with the crystal ones. I decided to enjoy them myself and if they get broken, so be it. Better than having them sit unused in a china hutch.

Use a sunblock stick to apply to the back of your hands so your palms don't get goopy. Easy to touch up and carry.

I love the crystal bowl painting! Just beautiful! You really captured the sunlight through the glass. I do plan to watch the watercolor tutorial of the rose you posted but am hoping to find time to do it real time with you soon. Mung beans are awesome, Lindsay! One great and super easy recipe is Beans and Barley...for breakfast. 1/4 cup each whole mung beans and barley, 2 cups of water and some salt. Cook overnight in a small crockpot. In the morning, you can either sweeten it (if you like a sweeter breakfast) or salt it to taste. I used to eat it all the time. Love it. Also, split hulled mung beans are great for kichari and the other types of dishes you described and they don't need to be soaked overnight. Although, it will still take about an hour or so to cook.
