Dutch astronomer Jan Oort first observed the evidence of the Oort cloud in 1950, since that time the Oort cloud has been a continual mystery. Despite strong evidence for its existence, the inner layer and outer layers of the oort cloud have defied all attempts to prove its place in the universe.
Also included in the video is the Kuiper Belt, the home of Pluto (not a real planet) and other icy bodies of Ammonia, Methane, and Ice. Astronomy remains a field of study that amazes the child in all of us. I hope you enjoy these quick science videos.
