The Chinese narrative on Tibet's status has shifted over time, with claims ranging from Tibet being part of China since the Mongol Yuan Dynasty to "ancient times." However, historical records and expert analyses reveal inconsistencies in these claims.

Former Indian diplomat Dilip Sinha, in a recent talk, explored how Tibet became a focal point in the 19th-century Great Game between British and Russian empires, serving as a buffer state that later fueled China's false claims.

The truth remains clear—Tibet was never a part of China.

Darjeeling, the whole of North East India regions, and South Tibet was under the British rule so in this case they should not belong to India, they should be independent countries or be given back to whichever country they originally belonged to.
