I love how you insert the old photos over the current locations. You always line them up so perfectly.

I'm a London taxi driver I used to do the Jack the ripper tour, you have done really well with this video, regards Richard London UK 🇬🇧

When I was growing up I remember being told by my English grandparents that they believed Jack The Ripper was a policeman and he had his knife engineered into a police truncheon, being a policeman gave the impression of trust and the ability to hide in plain sight. Great video, thanks again Mr & Mrs Grimm.

Fascinating. My mother was a homecare assistant visiting old people in their houses. During the seventies, she cared for an old lady who lived to be hundred and she remembers talk of jack the ripper . She would have been about twenty at the time.she told us that she remembered hearing about it. Old people are living history books.

The main reason it has changed so much is the fact that the area was bombed so heavily during WW2.

I'm going to be honest, every time I'm having a bad day or anxiety is killing me, I always come back to this channel as a safe place. I selfishly want more and more uploads LOL my favorite are the crime scene or killers locations. Keep up the great work!

Watched it 3 times already was so good ! So surreal to think in 1888 the actual Jack the ripper stood where you were both standing and walking along the same streets. Fantastic stuff.

It was so cool when the horse went past in the graveyard. That sound of the horse galloping a long will have been heard at her funeral most likely. It added so much to it. Thank you Grimmlife ❤

Seeing the old school, and the other old buildings that were there during that time is incredible. Knowing that Jack the Ripper laid his eyes upon the same buildings during his murders, possibly even being inside of some of them at some point…….. just an insane experience. You guys are simply amazing. 🙏🏻. Thank you for such dedication, you are both truly appreciated. Cheers

The craziest thing is that back then the East end of London was incredibly poor, literally the lowest of the low. Today it is probably one of the most expensive areas to live in the entire world, with properties starting at half a million pounds a pop and basic terrace houses a million pounds a pop. Insane how things can change. Great video and new viewer!

Just want to say how much I love your British series of stories, I was born in Liverpool and now live in Vancouver BC and was in Whitechapel last year and walked those same streets. The way you film and narrate the stories and events is excellent, your passion for all things horror comes through loud and clear, well done! Nathan

Great video, that area was the poorest in London in 1888. Now it’s the most prime real estate in Britain worth billions of dollars.

What tourists tend to be oblivious of when it comes to the "renovation" of London, is it was the Luftwaffe that helped with the "alteration" of the landscape - it wasn't called "The Blitz" for nothing.

ya i cannot see you guys taking someone else's tour. You're original authentic peoples who follow your hearts and own interpretation of everything you interact with. That's what makes a Grimm adventure a Grimm adventure! I love your adventures and find your channel to be top-tier content and delivery xo

Thank you for this video. One night, I went down an Internet rabbit hole about the murders and I too was trying to use street view to see where these places were. It's cool to see your tour of the murders. Thank you again!
