This seems like a stretch. To my knowledge, it wasn't until recently, when Greg Rucka said that Wonder Woman is bisexual, that she has been gaining traction as a queer icon.

No, No. Wonder Woman is an Icon for WOMEN, she may have defended lgbt ppl, she might have no problem with them, she may have many lgbt friends, but she is an Icon for WOMEN. Her achievements are amazing and she is basically a goddess, she's from an all female world and she headed into "Man's world" and over time learned that men and women can be equal (although she does still have plenty of feminist ideals), but this isnt enough for you people is it?
