Hi please help me out. While turning on 2 authenticator on my account I don’t remember downloading any authenticator app or getting backup code. I suddenly logged out from my account. My account is not logged in, in any device. I have access to email and number both and know the password but after logging in they are asking for authenticator code or backup code which I’m unable to provide please help me out with this because the account is professional and important. I can’t log it through the app but I can on a web browser. I know the password and the email account attached does get the emails to reset the password however when I type in the code a notification that doesn’t say anything pops up with the option to press ok which does nothing. My phone number is attached to a different Ig account. I delete the app and redownload it and it still doesn’t work. I factory reset my phone and it still doesn’t work. I even tried at 4am since there are less people on and still no help. I don’t know what to do

In my case, in the first step a code is sent to my number and e-mail and then in the last step a code is sent again but to another e-mail and number where I have no access and that is the number and e-mail of the hacker. Is there no solution to this?

Hi. I tried the first step and instead of the three options I got a black bar pop up from the bottom of my phone that said “we sent a message to get back into your account. Then at the top of my phone I got a code the says Instagram with codes and then says Don’t share it. Is that legit? Not sure. Also I don’t have a Facebook account.

I entered the username and pwd correctly and even after that it doesn't allows me to log in and constantly leading me to a page that has the only option of email for confirmation code and that email is not even mine.
And I can literally even change my pwd whenever I want for many times using my email but I can't access my account using my email 🤷‍♀️
