preview_player
Показать описание
USDT and USDC are centralized stablecoins backed by the U.S.dollar, and they are the two largest players in the space based on market capitalization. These stablecoins are less volatile than native cryptocurrencies as they are pegged to national currencies, and provide traders with a store of value for their cryptocurrencies between trades.

But...is one better than the other in terms of price stability, reserves, regulation, and safety? We'll explore all of these in this video so stick around to find out!

Are you still just holding coins? Guys, what are you doing? Unimantic has been around for almost a year!

Tether is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to stable coins. I think this coin has long proved its reliability.

Tether is a stablecoin for unbanked people. The rest of the competitors are created by bankers for bankers. They are the opposite of what Bitcoin is trying to achieve.

USDC passed the depeg stress test. Highly doubtful USDT will pass.

I don't think we should worry. Tether is an excellent stable coin that has proven itself in the crypto market. I see a lot of talk about what will happen in the event of bankruptcy, but I have never seen evidence that this can actually happen.

I’m so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I’m a single mother living in Vancouver Canada, bought my second house in September and hoping to retire next year at 50 if things keep going smoothly for me

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Tether is the one that straight up refuses audits, no?

This is very insightful. But I don’t feel USDC is as accessible as USDT. Most especially in Africa.

Why are you silent on the third alternative BUSD?

USDT has long been assigned the status of the safest stable coin. I think that it is Tether's competitors who are spreading all these rumors about insecurity.

USDT proved itself to be totally safe multiple times. Can't tell the same about USDC though.

I see that a real war of stable coins is starting now. I chose USDT for myself a long time ago. Because to me Tether is a stable coin for non-bank people. The rest of the competitors are created by bankers for bankers.

Use CEX to buy BTC and store it in cold wallet. Remember, if it's not your keys, it's not yours. Keep your seed phrase secured, and check back in 5 years.

After relying on Tether for the last few cycles I recently used USDC as the fees are much lower. Going forward I think I will be using USDC. The fees incurred using Tether atre ridiculous!

In this bear market I actually prefer this stablecoin called USD. It has a pretty high inflation right now but it's backed by a big project called the United States. It also hasn't depeg yet and your funds can always be redeemed since 1 USD = 1 USD.

My go-to stable coin was USDT until I watched this video. Switching over to USDC. Thank you!

This year it has become even more clear that nothing can flip Tether. It held the best on the market at the roughest times so I will never switch it to any other stablecoin

For me, Tether is a stable coin for non-bank people. The rest of the competitors are created by bankers for bankers. It's still a reliable coin and it doesn't matter what the competitors say.

Assuming by the number of people using USDC and its trading volume we can conclude that no one is interested in this stable coin which makes USDT an obvious winner here and also the safest.
