After the scary USDC depeg, I started questioning everything I knew about stablecoins. Specifically which ones were still safe, and what risks I should keep in mind as a stablecoin user and holder. The problem you pointed out about DAI, doesn’t really make sense to me when you put forward that you’d rather go with just USDC. To me it seems even LESS risky than just holding USDC alone because it’s more susceptible to being blacklisted. It either al funds gone or partial funds gone. I don’t hold any DAI by the way.

Circle halting USDC redemptions was certainly a bad move. They lost trust from tons of their users. If push comes to shove, they will certainly do it again in the future. They should've honored what they said where "you can redeem anytime".

Can't understand the reason reviewers typically consider paxos covered once talked about BUSD... USDP is the real paxos usd, which has no links with binance, and therefore much better despite being obviously less popular.

Blackrock has a partnership with Circle and imo is tbtf. So it's usdc for me but let's wait to see who survived the coming crash end of November.

Look into a gold backed stable coin..Id be more inclined to use that right now for longer term storage then a USD backed stable coin..

I believe the stablecoin idea as a whole needed to be adjusted following the terrifying USDC depeg. Stablecoins that are seizure resistant and have embedded yields for holders are already being developed by projects like Ethena Labs.
