Install a carbon fork on your bike. Ride in winter and do not ruin your Manitou fork. We use a Toseek carbon fork. Remove the wheel, it will interfere with the removal of the fork. Let's see how the new fork fits on our bike. Seems to be okay. Gaps are good. Carbon fork and carbon stem. Let's start with the stem. Loosen the brake bolts. Loosen the dismounting bolts to separate the stem from our old fork. Be careful now. Usually all steering components start to crumble. Old steerer on open bearings, separator type. Add all the elements of the old steering separately. Remove the old grease. But we have to change the steering because a carbon fork has a carbon shaft. We cannot mount an old steering on a new fork. This one is aluminum, but on the new one the fork has a carbon shaft. The lower ring will not fit. In the new steering bearing of the closed type. The lower cone has a cut. The most important ring with a slot, the only one that fits on a carbon fork. Cut on the side. The lower shell with the bearing fits well. If you use a special tool to remove the old headset, it will just fly out. Do the same with the upper headset. Collect it in a pile and put it aside. We may need it someday. Make sure you grease all the landing surfaces, it is important to grease the lower cup. Let's start cleaning. Apply it to the steering glass on the side of the steering. We always start by hammering a little into the frame, from the bottom and from the top. You have to hit evenly, no distortions! everything should be smooth! Afterwards, when the shells are partially in the frame, we press our our steering wheel with a special tool to make sure everything is correct and even. All is well, everything worked. Our steering is already in our frame. Lubricate the bearings from all sides? upper, lower and upper cones. Slowly, slowly. Put the fork into our frame. The main thing is not to rush and tighten the shirts properly. Put the upper bearing and a cone that clamps the bearing. We put spacers and dust bags at the end. Any grease left on the rod must be removed! We use isopropyl alcohol. It is very important to degrease everything! Here the space of the usual anchor is used for design purposes. Spacer plugs for stem forks to fix the steering. If you tighten it with a 6 mm hex, it will break. Make sure to degrease the inside of the shaft. Isopropyl alcohol and wipes. We put the snack on to test the height of the stem. As you can see, you need a spacer ring. Insert our cork and tighten its hexagon by 6 millimeters. Tighten moderately. The classic anchor comes with a steering wheel. We do not need it, but the cover is used. Then we put on the brake, tighten it. Just in case, tighten the brake disk screws. and tighten the primary wheel. until the tightening is moderate and the sleeve sits exactly in the dropouts. Check The wheel is straight and tight. Align the stem with the wheel. Start tightening. There should be no slippage. There should be no dents in the frame. Apply the front brake and move the steering wheel back and forth. Check from left to right to make sure the steering does not jam, Adjust the brake so that there are no bumps. Done. Carbon fork "toseek" installed on the bike. After replacing the fork, winter riding is possible)

Es conveniente ponerle los suplementos arriba o abajo del stem? Digo, por el carbono

Thanks for the tutorial.
I installed the same fork (I think because it's the same brand), but now when I brake hard the wheel move to the left (brake disc side). Do you have the same issue ?
I notice that In your video, the old fork has a "shoulder" for the axis on the brake disc side like mine... and the new one doesn't have that...

I saw the mallet being used to put the headset in and I was like oh, must not have it headset press. Seconds later pulls out a headset press.

I'm also wondering about this fork, do you think it will handle a heavier e-bike? the weight of the bike is 25 kg and the weight of the rider is 90 kg, trekking bike and riding mainly on public roads and light terrain 🤔

What size is the wheel and fork? I’m a bit confused with the toseek fork sizes as they carry 26, 27.5 and 29 but someone said the 26 fork can also accommodate 700c*40 and apparently in your video the fork has lots of room to handle bigger wheels, right?

Też jestem dość pedantyczny w serwisowaniu roweru.
Mam dwie uwagi:
1. tak bym roweru za siodełko żadnego nie wieszał,
2. klamki QR nie zamykałbym równolegle wzdłuż widelca ;)
Bo ciężko potem uchwycić by otworzyć to raz (no dobrze, można paskiem ;) a dwa, istnieje ryzyko zarysowania golenia widelca.
Pozdrawiam 🫡
