The Point: China's new law makes life easier for foreign investors

China's top legislature began to review a draft foreign investment law during a two-day session. Once deliberations are complete, the new law will replace three existing laws on Chinese-foreign joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises. Why did the laws need a revamp?
