Just cut some slots into some aluminum bar, at the same distance as the centers are from 1 side of the hard jaws you currently have on your vice, the same distance apart from each other the hard jaws are, bolt them to your vice, and make a cut on center of both jaws while the vice is closed.... your vice could be out .06" but the notch in your soft jaws will have to be dead nuts parallel and perpendicular to your spindle, since that will be what actually establishes the work holding itself. Make some custom T-nuts, that are within. 0005" as the opening at the top of the key ways you used to bolt the vice to the table. A "slip fit" as it's called. Be sure they are no less than .001" smaller than the slot in the table, but are still able to slide without having to be beat down the channel into place. Then once you have that side of your block establish, use an adjustable boring bar, but adjust it way out, so that you can cut a round boss on the back side of your slip fit block for the top of the t slot. Machine the boss on the backside, to just over the size diameter that would fit through the holes or slots on your vice, that you use to bolt your vice to your table. While on center your boss, drill a 17/32" hole through the work piece. Make 2 of these. Then, bolt a piece of either precision material to your table with strap clamps, or some aluminum, up off the table slightly, then just "true" both sides of the material with an endmill. Then, clamp the machined surfaces of this material, with your vice, with the vice upside down, with the clamping force of the vice, being the only thing holding it to your table, via the material that is strap clamped down. Then either bore, or adjust the slot widths, that you use to hold your vice down, when it's right side up, to a slip fit for the bosses of the backside of your t nut block. If you keep all of your tolerancing within .0005", you should be able to take your vice with hard jaws on and off as needed, use your standard t nuts and bolt, but with your precision "truing washers" to have your vice within .001" across your 6" vice jaws, to square with your head. The washer will only ride in the top of the t slot, above the t nut, which is below flush on the table, and the round boss opposite that, will just barely fit, into the vice retention cut outs within .0005" and being at 2 points opposite each other, and square with the table from the slots, only be out .0005" at the most.
