Ren and Nora talk about there feelings

Truly a beautiful moment in the Fandom. It shows Ren growing and confront his emotions, he admitted his love and let himself be vulnerable. And Nora didn't have a dramatic reaction. She expressed that she felt the same way with Ren but isn't at a place to be in a relationship. Ren knows hows Nora feels about him and wants to wait for Her. Such a adorable couple 😍

Lets not forget Monty himself first voiced Ren, and his brother continues to keep the character alive. So naturally the best written romance in the series is meant for Ren.

To any one saying that this is a toxic relationship or whatever... just know that Nora has asked on multiple occasions as to why Ren was troubled. The kiss is volume 7 was out of desperation to ease him and make him feel safe with Nora and help him remember that she's there for him. It wasn't forced or anything but to anyone that's been in a relationship, sometimes talking doesn't do it. And an act of expression can help bring down walls of frustration or aggravation. Ren and Nora have both grown as a couple and individually.

There are a lot of people who are saying that Nora changed her mind at the drop of a hat, but she actually stated that going on the mission after they kissed was what changed her mind about her needing to figure out who she was without him. It’s okay for people to change their minds, even if it’s sudden. That’s not an unrealistic character trait. She still loves him and wants to be with him, she just also wants to figure out who she is as an individual person without their relationship dynamic defining her, and I think that’s actually growth on her part. It’s shifting the focus from Nora and Ren to just Nora. She’s no longer an accessory to him or part of a set with him.

Best written couple in the series.
Both are supporting characters, who in the same way, are characters that support their team throughout the series just the same. Ren is seen as calm and collected, but that is just a form of how he copes with his surroundings. He hides his emotions within himself as his semblance, to which the show to a degree explains, is a manifestation of a person's soul and being. Of course this is useful in tough situations, as it forces him to make choice that aren't bound by emotion. But that also is destructive to the self, as shown with Lie Ren and General Ironwood having that shared trait of bottling up their emotion through their semblance.
Nora is the opposite, vibrant and colorful in her outward self. At a drop of a hat, the young Valkyrie can go from a state of happiness as easily to being sad the next. It doesn't help that she is also shown to be a capable fighter in the series as well, maybe even stronger than Ren. But one of the things that the show emphasizes on, that was built up in this one moment, was that Nora was always playing the role of the fool. Doing the dumb and dangerous things as a way to get her team and friends ahead of the curb. It also leads to Nora having to become the joy for both Ren and herself. But sometimes forced happiness can become something that isn't healthy. It leads you to question yourself, who you are and what principles do you truly follow to be true.
The situation of Atlas and Mantle truly showed us the two sides that Ren and Nora actually aren't the same, as Nora had always had always quoted, "We're together, but not together-together". In the end, when they meet up again in this one scene, they now play their opposite roles now, Ren as Nora and Nora as Ren. Ren, after finally realizing his mistakes, starts to unmask the emotions within himself until they truly become the words he wanted to say all these years. And Nora, finally putting away her loud and bubbly demeanor, shows the quiet and insecure girl she may have always been.
The concept of Ren and Nora was always a interesting one. 2 people who are bounded together since the beginning. But with that concept, you have to realized that it also makes the people in that duo lose their own individuality. Nora telling Ren that she wants to find out who the girl Nora truly was, in all truth, was a great way for character growth and for Nora to learn how to stand on her own. And Ren, now being mature enough, realizes that its okay to show outward feelings and that it is okay for him to lean on others.
Change is scary, but its a necessary part of life when growing up. We meet people all the time that can change our own demeanor and speech. But in the end, it comes down the person inside of us that makes the final decision on who the us of tomorrow is going to become.

What a nice moment between Ren and Nora. Until finally Ren opens up with Nora after always showing himself as a reserved person who does not reveal his true feelings and admitting the reason why he loves Nora (I was quite touched by this scene) and Nora telling him to remember that as a team, they all fall down, but get up at the same time. (The truth is that I felt sadness that after waiting for an advance in the relationship of these two after seeing seven volumes and when they finally kissed, now they are going to separate) but I understand Nora that she wants to find herself first before being in a formal relationship and above all, it was very nice that Ren understood and supported her and that he is going to wait for her as long as she needs. This just proves that there is no doubt, the two love each other and are willing to wait for each other. What a beautiful moment.
