Tokyo Art Supply Haul! Come shop with me...

My first video of the new year. Sorry for the short break but I just wanted some time off over Christmas and New Year. My NY resolution is to upload more content, or be more active at least. Thanks for watching this art supply haul from Tokyo.

To me, a beautiful cover is perfect justification for buying anything. I bought a book I hated reading just so I could have the cover art.

I just realized your cats named is pesto, my cats name was pesto also, he unfortunately passed this past November from old age. Glad to know I'm not the only person that would name a cat that !!!

Really interesting to see both common and uncommon brands around that store. Totally understand putting a supply back, I can very easily go overboard buying new supplies. Also really related to "never tried these so I bought some" I do that all the time!

I loved Sekaido when I went in Japan ! Such an wonderful art shop. One day I will go back T_T

Also be careful the Holbein paint is acryla gouache not normal gouache. It's permanent when dry unlike regular gouache than can be reactivated with water. (Saying that because Holbein have both regular and acrylic gouache )

Fun video! Never really thought about going art shopping in other countries when I'm on a holiday. But as I'm leaving for Tenerife in a month I decided, well a quick google search couldn't hurt. Right? And they actually have art shops there! So That's on the list for sure. Now I'm even more excited about my holiday then I already was :D

Ahh, when I went to Tokyo I didn't know about this art store but I've added it to my travel list for when I return someday. I also love Frannerd and her videos, that's so cool you ran into her there. Oh dang, that's so funny! I saw Fran's posts on instagram about getting art/stationery stuff while in Tokyo, then when you showed the store I thought "I wonder if that's the same store Fran went to?" and you DANG RAN INTO HER! Haha, delightful :)
