I think that this discussion could also be made more interesting by picking a specific arm slot/windup. Like if you wanted to go with Chris Sale's motion, the sweepers and sinkers and changeups would be nastier than the 12-6s or 4 seams. The reverse would be true for someone like Justin Verlander. The one other note I'd have with clase mixing with Mason miller's fastball is that the tunneling at that velocity would be bananas. I think even if both pitches would be sitting in a similar velocity range, playing them off of each other (especially given clase's command) would be totally devastating. Basically Corbin burnes' cutter sinker combo but plus 8 miles an hour. Mixing that with sengas fork or something similar, maybe Devin Williams' change up, would be the route I'd want to go. Kirby Yates' splitter also comes to mind. Staying away from sweepers might be helpful, just because the proliferation of sweepers and sliders makes such an arsenal a bit more familiar for batters, if no less ridiculous. I just also think going with something more distinct might be an added advantage. (Apologies for the initial typos)
