I love my GX2 with a Mitchell 300, my favorite combo, recently I got a 14lb rated abu Garcia reel and decided to check out this rod for it. I wouldn’t have known about the different construction without watching your video, it was straight to the point and easy to watch thanks. (Also am I the only one who misses seeing a lot of rods with real cork anymore?)

*Is everything you would expect from uglystik! Very reliable and strong but still sensitive enough to feel the bottom or small bites.*

Hey man great review I just got my elite in today everything is perfect except for a tiny piece of epoxy chipped off the very bottom where it holds the hook keeper would this affect the rod in any type of way because it's at the very bottom but other than that it was shipped in good condition I jus hate getting brand new stuff and I find something wrong 😂

You should have compared the size and weight differences between the gx2 and elite. Once u feel the elite, you won't even look at a gx2 anymore.
