0 - 100 years in France

100 French people, from newborn to 100 year-old. I started filming in Paris in November 2019 but I was unable to find a 99 year old for nearly a year. The corona virus made things worse as I was not able to travel or visit care homes. But almost a year later I was able to find a 99 year old lady and have her filmed by a local producer.

The 100 y.o. woman is my great grandmother, didn't even know she did that, so nice seeing her here! She's indeed a force of nature, living alone in Paris at 100 without any help! She's been through hell and back during the war during which she was a nurse and with a brother in the concentration camp in Nazi germany but she had a incredible life and I spent hours listening to her life stories growing up as we lived next door! She also created one of the biggest soup kitchen for homeless at her church "Eglise de la Trinité"! She is the rock and memory of our family and we love her very much ! Thank you for featuring her here :)

Oh, I love France. I’m a French descendant. I’m gonna visit the motherland for the first time in 30 days. I’m so excited to know more about my ancestors. I’m learning the French language and I feel more and more connected.💙
