Demystifying “Causal Impact” Research and Understanding Why It Is Important to CTE

The CTE Research Network seeks to expand the evidence base on the impact of CTE programs on student outcomes, and is working to implement more rigorous research—studies designed to show a causal impact—to meet that goal. But what is “causal impact” and what do CTE educators need to know related to the topic? This webinar will feature an introduction to the CTE Research Network, an overview of its goals and activities, and a discussion with several leading researchers about the value of causal impact and other research methodologies.
