NASA Makes UNEXPECTED Discovery On the Moon | What Is It?

The first onsite evidence of water on the moon was recently discovered by China’s Chang'e 5 lunar lander rover. Could this incredible discovery be a sign of ancient Moon life?

We live on an ocean world in a Solar System teeming with planets and moons. The most up-to-date NASA census shows 8 planets, 5 dwarf planets, and over 200 moons—and for good measure, throw in a million-plus asteroids and almost 4,000 comets.

Now consider that TWO… of the THREE most common elements in our universe are hydrogen and oxygen.

Is it surprising that astronomers believe that our cosmic backyard is not the dry and barren wasteland once thought? Now, science has the first real time on-site detection of evidence of water on our Moon’s surface, and any remaining ideas of a bone-dry satellite are gone.

Welcome to Factnomenal! In today’s video we dive deep into the celestial pond that is our neighborhood and look at the historic find by China’s lunar lander.

What could this mean for manned missions to the Moon, or even more so...

🧑‍🚀🌗Should we send a crewed mission back to the moon?

Just because it's " water" DOESNT mean it's anything remotely close to the composition of water on earth

I remember the first moon landing and hope to live long enough to see another

When we look up at the night sky we still feel the wonder that the first men felt.

Reminds me of the scene in the Time Machine movie where the guy fast forwards into time and the whole earths on fire looking upwards and the moon was broken up because bases on the moon messed with its rotation…

The moon seems like the best place to build. C'mon Elon 🙄

I heard Bezos got a contract with NASA to build something this week. Probably wasn't NASA though, was most likely

So the Moon is a Giant crust dusty water drop....Who Knew

a moon base would be ( dont mind me sayin ) a good place to setup refineries to mine asteroids and start building for future solar system exploitation/harvesting since we wouldnt have to wrestle the earths gravity and could ferry alot more ore/mats without the fuel expense well at least not as much

Pretty sure previous astronauts pissed on the moon.

What if the earth was a moon at one time? Possibly of Jupiter. Then the collision to knock us out of its orbit. Dragging along the culprit. Which became our moon. As we grew and evolved life.

So why aren't we colonizing the moon first then, instead of Mars?!

Yeah, just a little further along down down the lane to the right, there's a 7-11 and a free health care clinic
