Harris to announce VP pick soon; Trump wants different debate venue | VOANews

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly narrowing down her choices for a running mate in the 2024 presidential race. Her new vice presidential pick will join her at a campaign event Tuesday in Pennsylvania.

Trump was pretty specific in accepting ABC’s debate invitation. He agreed to debate Joe Biden, Joe backed out when he quit the race. Unless Joe plans on showing up on September 10th, there is no agreement. Trump has a new proposal, Harris declined.

There is no debate agreement extant between Trump and Harris. There was an agreement between Trump and Biden, but Trump decimated Biden in the one debate so badly that Biden dropped out of the race. Therefore, negotiations are back to square one. Fox News offered to host a debate. Trump accepted the offer. Harris declined. So it would appear that Harris is afraid to debate Trump.
