I always take mine in left arm because I am right handed too.

I personally have been taking my BP measurements using my left arm. Partly because i am right-handed and i also take note of the manufacturers' specifications. I use Kiptrack Blood Glucose/BP monitor which comes with a NIBP cuff on which left arm is boldly printed, along with the arm circumference range. You are also correct to use your left arm because Omron monitors were tested on patients using the left arm during the clinical trials by the makers. So, its good to stick with the manufacturer's specs for accuracy and consistency. Great video as usual. Keep it up, pretty Doc.

Great advice I predominantly do the right arm, although it hurts when I take it for some reason, no idea why.

Thanks Dr. Jen for the info. Will check the website mentioned. My dr recommended that I get an arm cup. I have a wrist cup. Also, I noticed when I have an appt it just depends on where I sit regarding the arm chosen. For me, it's my left side for this right-handed person when I check my BP at home.
