A sequel, titled Kengan Omega, began in January 2019.

Kaolang Wongsawat (ガオラン・ウォンサワット, Gaoran Wonsawatto), also known as The Thai God of War, is a renowned boxer and current heavyweight champion across four different organizations, as well as the personal bodyguard of Rama XIII. A nak muay who made the move into the professional boxing scene, Gaolang has made it as the second best Pound-for-pound boxer in history. During the Kengan Annihilation Tournament, he participated as the affiliated fighter for Yato Trading Co. Two years later, he entered the Kengan Association VS Purgatory Tournament as a representative for the Kengan Association.

Kanoh Agito (加か納のう アギト, Kanō Agito; "Agito Kanoh") is the former affiliate fighter for Dainippon Bank, for whom he fought as The Fifth Fang of Metsudo (五ご代だい目め滅めつ堂どうの牙きば, Godaime Metsudō no Kiba). He represented the company during the Kengan Annihilation Tournament; widely regarded as the most powerful fighter in the tournament and the favorite to win. While he was active, he was #1 in the Kengan affiliated fighter ranks.

It is definitly one of Kengan Ashuras biggest strenght being how well researched each fighring style is.
The mangas credit panels had short comics of the teams research of boxing, wrestling etc so i am quite happy how in the anime it is really superbly portrayed even the focus in a way.
