Im embarrassed to say this, but as a 26 year old Im about to wash my first load of clothes in a machine that isn’t preloaded with deterrent and this is super helpful. I didn’t know you could just add the powder directly into the drum!

Tide powder is excellent laundry detergent and Tide Plus Bleach powder is even better. Don’t worry, it’s color safe due to using activated oxygen bleach. No single use plastic containers either!

YouTube recommended your video, I see it was posted about 2 years ago from the time I've encountered it. I'm curious if the Samsung washer is still going? Every Samsung product I've ever used died prematurely that I finally quit buying their stuff. Needless to say all the ones I had at the time of cutting them off have all since died and been replaced with Non-Samsung brands which are still going strong. I hope you had better luck with your Samsung machines.

I was at the laundromat to wash my quilt in their front loading machine and saw a woman using at least two cups of dry Gain in each machine. I wanted to tell her she only needed a half cup, but didn't. Her clothes probably never feel clean.

If it helps, the tablespoon equivalents to the number lines are 3, 5, and 12 tablespoons respectively.

If you want weight measurements, medium loads weigh 6 pounds, large loads weigh 11 pounds, and full HE loads/extra large loads weigh 21 pounds. Adjust measurements depending on how soiled your clothes are and how hard your water is, using no more than the max recommended amount of detergent.

Sheets and comforters also don't need as much detergent, and can get away with even less than the recommended detergent (say, a comforters weight 11 pounds, I use only 3 tablespoons of detergent, maybe more if it stinks or has a stain on it).

My top load washer only use cold water bc of that the powder detergent stick to the clothes, can i dilute it to boiling Water and wait it to cool down and use it for the washing machine?
