How To Remove Front Door Panel 04-06 Nissan Sentra

You need to remove the door panel for a number of different repairs, for example door handles, window regulators, power window motors, door locks and more. This video is applicable to the Nissan Sentra, years 04, 05, and 06.

Thank you for this video. My '06 Sentra's rear passenger window got stuck inside the door after going off track, and getting the panel off allowed me to pull the window up. Saved me a trip to the shop and, more importantly, $$$.

I need to do this tomorrow so I can remove the door because I need to replace the upper and lower driver's door hinges.
My 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 (the same color as yours) has 355, 000 miles and I wouldn't trade it for a new car.

Usually there's no adjustment on them. They typically attach to the door handle. You could remove the door panel on the other side of the car to see how it attaches to the handle if you are unsure. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Just an FYI, the door handle comes off from the pillar side of the door. First time i did it the handle cup was ripped off of the trim piece. And since it was welded on i had to epoxy it back together. The clips to remove that piece are to the rear of the handle. A wide wood chisel works great to pop it loose.

Awesome thanks do you know how to adjust the door open rod that slids into a plastic houseing and it came off. so you cant open the door from the outside.

The steps are similar but of course because of the body styling changing since then, the bolt position and the attachment hardware will be different but the concept is still the same.

I know this video will help me out but I need a video to find out what I need to fix or replace. The problem is that the car will not open from the inside by pulling the door handle. I have to lower the window and pull the door handle from the outside of the door. Any advice how to fix this problem?

This is a very helpful video but I wish u would have done one when the door is shut. Hence my problem... the door is locked somehow and won't open from either side and I can't get the door panel off the door like u did in this video. Please help I am attempting to do it now.

i will try i tried last night but its too dark. wen you open the door from inside the plastic piece slides down and opens the door. but on the outside the rod pushed the plastic down but if the rod tip isnt in the hole it slips and pops away. Thanks

How do I replace a 2017 Nissan Sentra front passenger door, and how much would it cost through you guys? My door and mirror were damaged due to a passenger in and SUV (sitting behind driver) opening their door as I slowly passed them as they were parked. The mirror is gone right down to the metal mount. The door has an approximate 33" horizontal crease. The front right passenger window was down so I don't think it was damage, or a least I didn't hear it shatter.
