This relationship should have never broken up they were so suited for each other and they both remain in in happy unbalanced relationships to this day. They should have taken their vows a little more serious and worked it out and just be in love for the rest of their lives. They were made for each other.

Just my opinion of course, but Sean Penn married the REAL Madonna. The one all the cool Madonna wannabes want to be just like. But Madonna reinvented herself to something almost unrecognizable. For me, Madonna's musical career was from 1984 to 1989 (almost the exact same years of her marriage to Sean Penn). I could stretch her career as far as 1990, but for me much of the luster was gone and replace with something else. I'm still so freakin proud I saw her at Radio City Music Hall in New York in 1985 from 6 rows out!

I totally agree with someone saying on here that these two are soul mates and I've always thought that. Madonna looks so happy with Sean in these pictures, but at times he looks very dominant especially when he's got his arm around her neck. I'd like it if these 2 did get back together.

I like 1:25 at the Live-Aid concert in 1985. Kind of sad, because Sean Penn seems especially bothered by some of the photographers.
