Thank you for choosing my video! I'm thrilled to have you on board as I've created this channel to assist fellow golfers in their quest to master the game. Learning golf can be quite a challenge, but don't worry – I'm here to provide guidance and support.

In my early days of learning, I too faced the struggle of improving my game. Despite diving into books and videos, progress seemed elusive. Through years of dedicated study of swing biomechanics and testing various techniques, I've developed a systematic approach to mastering the golf swing.

On this YouTube channel, I deliver cutting-edge training that's currently yielding real results for my clients. Regardless of where you stand in your golfing journey – whether you're a beginner, dealing with flexibility concerns, or aiming to lower your handicap – this platform is designed to cater to your needs. It's a community where you can learn, exchange ideas, ask questions, and find the support required to relish this wonderful sport.

Be prepared for an authentic journey. If you're looking for quick fixes, I might not be your ideal source. Instead, I offer step-by-step guidance that you can directly apply on the practice range and course. It demands dedication, embracing mistakes, consistent practice, and the joy of watching your scores progressively improve.
With the privilege of coaching thousands of students worldwide, I'm excited to extend the challenge to you. If you're ready to step up and dive into the game, let's embark on this journey together!

You are a brilliant instructor! It is refreshing to see a young instructor that understands seniors cannot do a lot of thrashing around of the spine and tilt in the backswing and downswing results in a very sore back. Seniors also play more golf than almost anyone so these videos are priceless for us. As a 64 year old senior who plays over 200 rounds a year this is great advice. Thankyou !
Please do more videos for seniors.😊

78 yrs here, still single hdcp, and trying to incorporate more of an arm swing. I like what you are demonstrating and will give it a go. Thank you.

Super helpful! I’ve been trying to make a body release move through impact and my back is killing me. The senior golfer instruction is very much appreciated!!

Thanks Giles. 66yo 18hcp, struggling with loss of energy mid round, which seems to affect my legwork and long irons and woods the most. This always results in destruction of my round and score. The tired shot usually ends up as a large hook, & sometimes random result, due to poor timing of impact . But lack of energy doesn't seem to affect my short irons or chips. My short shots are all far less in leg and bodywork. I can see your description of 1/2 or 3/4 backswing as similar to my pitch/short game, so I will try applying this technique (my normal short game) to my long lines and driver later in my round when I am drained of body energy.

I’ve watched a lot of videos trying to improve my golf swing. This is absolutely one of the best I’ve seen on how to build a good release!

I will be 63 in April so for sure a Senior golfer now. Needing all the help I can get to recover lost yardage. Fantastic video. Very well explained, broken down into repeatable segments. My only concern wit hthis video, is that you do seem to speak pretty quickly but Im sure that was due to the cold and rainy conditions. Otherwise, excellent work. Will give it a try. Giles, the video makes a lot of sense for the senior golfer with restricted flexibility (like me @ 74). What I can’t understand why you would want to have the club face vertical at P6. Wouldn’t there still be an advantage in have the face more closed (say at 1 o’clock rather than 12 o’clock). Would there be any disadvantage of having it more closed.

Great video, at last someone who takes his time to thoroughly explain his lesson in a simple but clear way . Thank you Chris

Very good Giles. An inside to out swing, while keeping the right shoulder behind the left, and bringing the right arm underneath the left, like I’m skipping a rock across the water.. This stops the over the top, spinning out, and does promote a draw. If all golfers, not only us seniors, would do this, it would help them. These are common problems I see on the range with many golfers struggling with their swing…
