Someone needs to tell the governor of New Mexico that criminals will not pay one minute of attention to her declaration. What a stupid politician.

Thanks, Scott, for your brief "refresher" about our Bill of Rights. It IS extremely important, I agree. It's always good that We the People are reminded periodically about the significance of our basic rights and from whence they come. Thanks, again.

My daughter was only 3 months old when 9/11 happened. It was about 2pm here in The UK. I remember watching the tv with her asleep in my arms with me crying, wondering what on earth I had brought her into. It’s the day that changed the world. Nothing has been the same since.

I always remember sept 11. I was a young nurse in churchill Manitoba Canada and worked with a co-worker ❤ . She went down to see her brother who worked at the twin towers. Chris was there when this tragedy occurred, she and her brother lost their lives. Rip Chris. I so enjoyed working with you. Rip to the rest of the people who died that horrible day.

When our rights to bear arms are taken away even for 30 days, everyone should be hollering. If a governor can get away with that then they will be coming for your other rights whenever they choose. Come on people!!
Good show Scott. I followed the Crystal and her father Tommy’s case. I hope they have finally solved it.

Thank you for this! We must never forget 911. My brother graduated from the Air Force Academy and was a pilot. He became a transcontinental pilot for Delta while remaining a Colonel in the Reserves. A hotel in NYC had a floor reserved for Delta and American Airline crews. My brother had just brought me home from the hospital and we were eating breakfast and watching the news. He knew the pilots in the first plane. He got a phone call and came back in, asked me to call a friend to come over, grabbed his stuff and hurried out the door. So many died; many served. If you visit Trinity Church you can still see the marks on the pews from the responders’ equipment and the search dogs’ claws.
BTW during Graduation Week at USAFA he rented a two seater above wing Cessna and flew me all over Colorado Springs area. Breathtaking!

Hi Scott. I'm happy that you and a few others are remembering this anniversary. For me, it's about remembering the victims. People like Edna Citrone. Look her up. I find it sickening how this tragedy has been used to try and control the population.

My husband’s boss had children in a school that over 50 children in attendance who lost one or both parents that dark day. The confusion and chaos for these teachers helping the kids that day was indescribable. They had to find next of kin and get identification, etc. all while trying not to tell any of the students what was happening until they knew who made it out of the towers. Everyone was so stunned and fighting shock, feeling utter horror—especially for these children—and watching not knowing by day’s end the fate of some of the unaccounted for parents yet. The stories coming from there in the next days and weeks made it feel so much more…real?—I don’t even know how to describe it. Heartbreaking seems too understated. Everyone on our street had a flag flying before evening that day, and they never came down for almost two years. Ours is battered and weatherworn, but lovingly tucked away to fly again every September 11th in loving honor and memory.

God bless all the families who lost someone that day in New York, DC, and Pennsylvania. God bless the firefighters who climbed those fateful stairs… And God bless the firefighters who sifted through toxic debris along with the dogs that shredded their paws trying to find survivors. I wish we were still United the way the world was in the aftermath that followed. We were so kind to one another for awhile. I’m glad I got to experience that special time of unity. It’s long gone now. But I still remember it all.

As a wife of a first responder, we were able to attend the police memorial after 9/11 in Washington DC! I will never forget the families there honoring their loved ones who ran into the buildings that day. NEVER FORGET! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

My son-in-law remembers this day every year as he is a commercial pilot and was in the air when the attack happened and of course was diverted. That day was a harrowing experience for all pilots.
Great civics lesson tonight!

I was standing at my machine at Red Wing shoes building work boots when the towers were hit. It came over the radio on KQRS 92.5 here in MN. Which is the recording you will here at the 911 museum. I will never forget.
