Gary is the most emotional, outstanding, the best gutarist ive ever heard. when you listen to gary moore you can feel it in your whole body. no other guitarist and musician have had such an emotional and inspirational impact on me when it comes to music. he had the speed and stamina of a metal guitarist, the emotion and licks of a blues player, and the tone from heaven. "Still got the blues"- "The Messiah Will indeed Come Again"- we miss you Gary.

A chap I work with was a Roadie for Marillion back in the 80's and told me a story of how Gary was in the same hotel as them and bought all the roadies drinks for the night, saying the musicians would be nothing without them. A tale of a true gentleman, RIP Gary.

What a beautiful spot. Such a shame he went so young! There aren't many people who play an instrument with such skill and ease to such an effect. RIP Gary. Thank you for the music.

Phil Lynott and Gary Moore. What a duo. Their loss so early in their lives is such a tragedy. Thankyou for the fantastic music lads xxx

Saw the bloke play the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1988. Scorching hot summers day. Got sunburnt all down my left side. Happy memories, happy days.

Thanks for this. A couple of years ago, I asked someone who was going down to Brighton to nip and place one of my plectrums on his grave, which he duly did. Black Rose is Gary and Phil at their pinnacle. RIP Phil and Gary.

Loved this video, as a 70's kid I was brought up listening to the likes of Thin Lizzy, Fleetwood Mac and the rock from this era.
