Then disable "FileVault" in settings.

I dont know what I did wrong. I restarted and still asking for password. I entered the old one but it doesnt go through

It did not work for me. In fact, when I did that, everything was smooth until I turn off the laptop and opened it and it required password. I tried to put my old password in and it did not work. Now I am stuck with no options. Idk what to do . Help!!!

Good tip, works great. Please slow down your how- to videos, you whip through them far too fast, I had to rewind this four times and pause it at the steps. Nothing major, just it’s better for non-expert users if you go slower through the steps.
