How to Turn Off iPhone Passcode Lock | Mac Basics

Hi, Lisa here, and I'm going to show you how to remove the pass code lock from your iPhone. So first thing you are going to do is go to your settings, then you are going to scroll down to general, and then you will scroll down again until you get to touch id and pass code or if you don't have an iPhone 5s it will just say pass code, you'll tap on it and it will have you enter in your pass code, and that will let you get in so that you can turn it off. Right there at the top you see your option to turn it off and then it's going to ask you if you are sure you want to turn it off, and will also warn you about all of your data being saved on the phone that others might be able to see. So you'll say turn off, you have to enter in your pass code again, and then it will ask you if you are using iCloud key chain if you want to keep using it or turn that off as well.

So in this case I want to keep using it and now it's off. So if I lock the phone, and now I slide to unlock and it goes straight in, no need for a pass code. And that's how you turn off the pass code on your iPhone.
