at 13:41 how come the x values werent excluding the -1 and 2 because the signs used werent greater/less than or equal to?

I far as I know the value of square root can't be negative number. So the graph can't be drawn on 4th quadrant, isn't it?
Besides square root of x is considered as toolkit fuction, the frequent used function.

The square root is not a function, but the symbol you used which is called the radical sign is called the principal square root, which is defined as only the unique nonnegative square root √x² := |x|
