What did you guys think of my rendition of The Last Agni Kai ?

I've waited a loooong time to make sure that I got the right idea and the right skills for the production.

Especially on these BIG drums (There are called "Taikos), I wanted them to sound MASSIVE and that is hard to do in production.

"I'm sorry it has to end this way, brother."

"No... you're not."

God I love how this music does everything to make sure to know that this last showdown between Azusa and Zuko isn't cool or epic; Its a fucking tragedy.

I love that this show still deeply impacts people. There's nothing like Avatar: The Last Airbender!

It's such SAD music. Which I love, because there was no actual triumph in the Last Agni Kai. It was two kids being so broken by their circumstance that they had no choice but to fight each other. They were brother and sister. There was a time they got along and were actually siblings. And this is what it got reduced to. Nobody really wins here. It's final tragedy. Beautiful rendition.

I am so glad they chose music like this, it made it suddenly clear how absolutly Tragic and Heartbreakingly _wrong_ this Agni Kai was. Brother and sister fighting because of the warped and terrible treatment of their father, because of the atrocities of their Grandfather, bcause of 'honor' and 'pride'... it really suddenly throws into focus that Azula might be a Villain, but she is also Zukos 14 yo younger Sister. She is supposed to be to zuko what Katara is to Sokka and yet, here we are.

This is the first time someone's done this song justice in a cover imo, the third part at 2:24 is brilliant.

Looking back watching the scene. I felt that neither sides are the winner, There was no winner in the scene just a heartbreak battle between siblings trying to kill each other. There is no epicness just outright pain, Azula's upbringing and downfall were by far the most tragic. There's no honor and death seems the be the only option in Zuko's eyes. I couldn't help but wish, that it didn't have to be like this under any circumstances. There are so many lines being crossed that can't be overlooked.

I was genuinly impressed by Zukos and Azulas story arc. I watched the show after people recomended its story line but I didnt expect too much since its a kids show. Most of my expectations where met good and bad, however the suble story telling and arcs of side characters impressed the hell out of me. They managed to write such unique and wonderful story arcs and a deep world with a long history and consequent thought out mythos and put all of that so subble in there that it still kept beeing a light hearted kids show. Thats honestly impressive

Very nice touch with the blue and orange lighting and the shredded pieces of fabric in the background to symbolize their torn bond. "The Last Agni Kai" has always had a special place in my heart. You guys more than did it justice. I applaud you and everyone who worked on this video. Thank you for sharing.

A soundtrack that tells a story from a show that change lives unexpectedly. I’ll be for ever grateful to all the people involved to create a master piece of a storytelling.

I’ve watched Avatar The Last Airbender since it first aired. I’m a 25 year old Marine Corps infantry veteran. I still watch an episode of this show every single day and am getting a tattoo of the elements soon. This show is magical. This scene is the best scene in the show and you captured it so perfectly. Thank you.

This soundtrack makes everything so much more heartbreaking. They were just kids, tortured and manipulated into being machines of war. The only reason Zuko didnt turn out more like azula was because of his mother and Iroh instilling a moral center.

'And at this ellipse of jagged mountain tops, those with eyes and ears witnessed a clash of Azure Flames and Crimson Fire, and they would surely tell you it was the end of the world. But the mountain knew better and weeps while its hearth of stone crumbles, and in the end, the bitterness of sorrow leaves nothing but two broken souls in a crater of cold, desolate darkness...'

I am feel betrayed for not having found this until now. That was amazing. I could see the entire scene play out in my head while listening to this and it legit made me cry. Incredible! <3

This was a heartbreaking moment in the show. There were no words thrown back and forth between Zuko and Azula. You couldn't even hear their footsteps. Their fire bending was muffled so the main thing you could hear and focus on in this scene was the music. This song encompassed all the pain Zuko was going through, having to give up his family in order to save his country.
