Nearly lost the engine just because of the temp gauge . Culprit was leaking small pipe supplying water to throttle body, that prevented the red light come on . Now i am very happy that i added odb temp control screen. its just fits under the usb socket area.

The 1.5 was sold in South America as well. That motor built in brazil is made even today for the wr-v (a Fit/Jazz with mini suv face and more ground clearence).

I can see many with heated seats in England. Usually the ones optioned with leather are with heated seats. Some hybrids have them and mostly EXL model. The panoramic glass roof is such a great option too. Nice video!

I still drive my 2006 Jazz - old lady now but I'm only the second owner. SUCH a reliable car.

Heated leather seats are an option, and are found on the EXL model. I like the Si as its got a sporty look to it, but come winter I'd trade that for heated leather

I just purchased the 2011 GLI version in Australia. (1300 5 speed manual, Thai made) Thankfully they come with a full-size spare wheel without comprise to the space in the back.

It`s a great little car! Got my `09 Jazz in 2020 and it is still such joy to ride every time I take it to a winding road. It`s no BMW or Audi, but you get a lot for your money. Had a couple of things to work on such as A\C and rear brake calipers, but otherwise no problems at all.

Good review. I'm on my fifth Jazz, well Fit this time. I ended up buying a 1.3 fit for me and a 1.5RS for the Mrs, both CVT. The RS is not fast but the extra torque is great when you have four adults and a bunch of luggage on Honda. I bought imports cause I was fed up with how fast they rust in the UK winters, and wanted a low miles rust free older car for sensible money. Yes, they rust as bad at the mk1 in the UK, the worst area is around the petrol flap. The salt builds up around it hidden in the inner wing. I have no idea why Honda did not fit a plastic guard to stop it. Despite this I'm very happy with them.

Nice review. I bought a 2006 jazz sport here in Yorkshire 3 weeks ago. Kept stallin her first few days at junctions as you need more revs as you said. Also noticed the slower gear change needed. Drives well but boy does it have water leak issues. Rear floorpans both sides. Plastic aprons behind the door cards resealed twice now second time with correct rvf sealan like a black goo. Still leaking take carpets up .issue with door seal pooling at bottom and leaking in. Checked drain holes in rubber seals. There are two maybe 5 or 6 in apart so put another hole in between them to assist taking excess rain water away. Also a problem with metal seams so needs addressing. And a leak in the boot Just keeps raining so not easy as no garage.

I drive a mk 1 jazz sport. and still a brilliant little car. Engine is bomb proof if you just change the oil and filter every 10000kms. I've had the usual jazz swimming pool in the boot spare wheel space. It is cause by water getting in at the ends of roof strip and leaks down the inside of the rear pillars into the boot. Easy fix with some sealer. Lots of YouTube vids on the topic. Overall the car is in excellent condition and I can't see anything on the market that would be worth buying to replace it except possibly another jazz.

I love my Jazz Si, I have it in black and everything is stock from the outside.

I have wrapped the fog light with a yellow tinting film and LED Reg plate lights, in the inside however, I had to get a Pioneer Apple car play 7-inch touch screen sound system and a Pioneer speakers all 4 corners.

I really need a spoiler for my jazz :(

Nice colour by the way

I bought a late model 2013 second gen 1.3 Vibe 3 weeks ago in Australia and its a great little car, only problem I have found is for me the foot rest is too close to the clutch pedal when depressed. I was looking for a 1.5 but most of them in the late second gen are auto and I wanted a manual, the 1.5 seems to be more common here. This vid and a few others put me onto the Jazz, coming out of a straight six Jeep TJ I was going to get a 4.0 L Barra ford but ended up with a 1.3 Jazz lol

Thank you for this video, I found it really useful! I need to replace my rusty and trusty 2003 Toyota Yaris soon, and I'm hesitating between the Mk2+ Jazz (2010 onwards) and the similar age Yaris equivalent (2011-2014). I'm leaning towards the Jazz!
Have you driven any Yarises? If so, how do you find them by comparison?
(I was originally considering a CRZ, after watching your other video, but have managed to keep the Yaris going another couple of years since then, and I'm now worrying about battery ageing in CRZs... and the higher price tag, of course!)
