Hyperconvergence - Simple Is Beautiful

I've always quite frankly been almost annoyed by the complexity of data centers. There are various kinds or servers, different storage devices, switches, gateways, power and cooling, different types of cables and dozens of protocols....the list is endless. And don't even get me started with the management complexity!

All this just feels...overwhelming and wrong to me. There must be a better, an easier way. And my prayers have been answered! For a few years now, "hyperconvergence" has been disrupting the enterprise IT markets with it's extreme simplicity. Old-fashioned solutions are being challenged all over the enterprise world by a new breed of intelligent technologies like hyperconvergence. And I, for one, welcome the future with open arms!

Let me me explain what hyperconvergence is and why I think future of data centers is hyperconverged.

Simple and excellent explanation. I've been in IT for 20 years and very old school, and all these explanations were annoying and overly marketed and I still didn't have any idea what HCI was. Today I observed setting HCI. It was for CA / PKI in our data center. Our network security expert is such a great guy (he's also ccnp certified), he can explain complex stuff very simply.
