The man uses higher quality chips with "better" (cleaner more headroom) sounds. I personally like the analogue character of the Boy and Analogue delays based around the same chip so it's really a matter of taste. :)

I agree, I bought an original Memory Man when they first hit the market, I meant the first week, & I do wish I would have kept it...BIG TIME...LOL, and this pedal here doesn't come close to what the original did...I LOVED that pedal...I can only acredit the loss of it to the fact that it helped me to get my first Custom Shop Special tobacco brown sunburst Les Paul Delux w/treb-bass-boost, & out of phase toggles on it...but...I STILL miss that Memory Man...

That would be a ridiculous amount of work. They have 967 videos, most of which are pedal demos. They already have a huge back-log of pedals they still want to do, so I'm sure that'd be insane for them.

I find it interesting when people insist that something is too expensive. It's not as if things are produced and the manufacturer simply makes up a price at which to sell them. The components cost a certain amount, the labour to produce them costs a certain amount. Add to this a profit so that the company can continue to offer a product and a reasonable estimation of what the public are prepared to pay (and the availablility of units/numbers produced) and you have an approximate pricepoint.

Great demo burgs - trying to compete with the Strymon pedals is a tough one but I like the features they have gone for - saying that I'm still saving up for a Timeline - I dont think there is anything on the market that sounds as good right now.

This pedal is a fair amount cheaper then the Diamond Memory Lane 2 and with a couple more options and in my opinion better sound. A more usable loop that you don't need to buy a trs cord for. I'd love to get one of these. Hopefully they don't run out of chips anytime soon.
