Spoiler alert…Francis Kurkdijan has just created the best version of Sauvage yet. Why is it better to me? because it’s the closest scent to niche of all the Sauvage options so far. Every other Sauvage, including the elixir, smells synthetic and chemical forward. Sauvage Eau Forte smells the least synthetic and the most expensive. It makes the other 4 versions of Sauvage smell like a drug store perfume. Get your nose on this Asap.

I have this fragrance in my arsenal and I am really loving this formula. The initial smell is very clean and calming. It’s a very mature scent and is for a person like myself who loves to experience a fragrance. The woodsy notes really pulled me in and I can’t wait to experience this in the spring!

Very interesting fragrance. It took me a whole week to get my head around it and in that time I wasn't sure what to make of it. This really is a niche fragrance, and the only niche out of the fragrance line. The smell takes me to some otherwise forgotten time, some old memory, which I cannot properly envision but it is there every time I smell it.

In my opinion, this is the most interesting Sauvage of them all. It smells more niche and is not the easiest to receive, especially for edt or edp fans. And maybe that's why it has such low ratings, but for me it's a great perfume. This is what I expect from perfume premieres, that there will finally be something different from all those blue perfumes that smell like shower gel. Durability all day on the skin and projection is quite good, which surprised me for a perfume without alcohol. A big plus from me and I've already ordered it 😉

E!!!! Man it's really good to get your take on these scents! I have the original Sauvage, but for me it's like stepping on an air horn -- too much for the office. I typically wear Aventus (og) or TF Ombre Leather. I've enjoyed your videos for years, so glad that you are still in the game!

The part I dont get is how would alcohol help a fragrance project when the alcohol evaporates in minutes. Water should work.

I can get a 100 ml of this @ a retail store here in Canada for $220 CDN/163 USD. But because I'm a Senior I can get a further 20% off ($176 CDN/130 USD). I think the US stores are charging way too much. Yes, it's a Great fragrance. Thanks for nice review.

I tried it out today. It's projection is almost non-existent, but sometimes when I do smell the points where I sprayed it, it's still there after almost 9 hours.
Not very strong, but my wrists, inside of elbow, inside of my t-shirt all have this noticeable wood and talcum powdery smell even now which is pleasant.
For me, it may be something I wear to office or when I am at home by myself and I don't want to project it to the world but to revel in it myself. Very subtle!

Hey simply put scents, try layering it with that new ralph lauren club elixer. Thats what nobody talking about. Napalm fire. Just wait till DUA FRAGRANCES does it.

I wanted to like this but unfortunately it's not for me, however I do appreciate your take on it. I can even get over the no alcohol base, but on me it performs like a skin scent and I was disappointed. I do like that it does not have that harsh metallic top note though from the original EDT

Don’t understand the hate. The white substance evaporates. It doesn’t stain your clothes. It’s fire. It’s different. And it’s strong. Think Oud satin mood without the Oud.
