Negligent discharge. Guns don't accidentally go off unless they're being handled poorly. It didn't just decide itself to go off. Someone didn't have a good grasp of the responsibility in carrying one.

Guns don't "accidentally" go off. Depending on the type, there is a thousand and one reasons why that happened, e.g. revolver/hammer handgun means he had it "cocked" and loaded, striker handgun means he at least had it loaded, etc etc.

He should of carried Israeli style.
