Now I am unsure but I live in Maryland and I thought the land granted to the federal government to govern from was intended to be a district as to not have bias toward the states. Again this is a question? Why would Maryland be OK with this. If your not going to use the land for its original purpose then it should revert back to Maryland. Kinda BS because that’s not why it was granted to begin with. It’s like someone granting you land for a public park and then turning around and building a hotel on it. I’m pretty sure it’s things like this and packing the courts that our fore fathers were against happening.
