This is a tribute to Junji Ito and hos horror manga Uzumaki, which is about a town getting possessed by spirals. This video is filled with reference after reference. Including snails, medusa hair, phobia of spirals and more. I loved this.

The spiral obsession is a reference to a Japanese horror comic called "Uzumaki", it's more disturbing than scary cause the story is literally about people obsessing about anything with a spiral shape. They either enjoy the spiral or fear it but it's more driven into insanity than anything.

Just so you know, The Spiral is one of the most in depth custom scenarios in plague Inc, made by the legend himself Indigo Phoenix. It has many endings and literally changes how the game works, really cool scenario if you have the time.

"Dwarf attacked by carp" is definitely a Dwarf Fortress reference. Carp used to be seriously OP in that game.

Legit everything from eyes jutting out and a spiral tongue, to a spiral obsession and spiral art is pulled directly from the manga 'Uzumaki' from the master of body horror himself, Junji Ito. All the pictures in the pop ups are actual manga panels. Every little piece of this an Uzumaki reference and I'm living for it.

I would definitely enjoy watching Gray play D&D. Just need to find a DM good enough at improvising to deal with all the chaotic energy Gray brings to the table, and players veteran enough to not be completely steamrollered by Gray. Well, Dice Goblins is back, maybe Gray could join them for a session or two?

Um, Gray, just so you know, Torsional Strabismus is real. It's one of a set of these eye conditions where your visual field is bigger or different than it should normally be and your eye goes anywhere from mild vibration, like mine, or the ability to have your eyes go in various directions that are abnormal. :) That eye bulging issue is what happens to a lot of people very bad thyroid problems.
