You nailed it correctly. It can be done only if India has ambitions on civilizational scale. Otherwise we shall have to be content with just protecting whatever our current lines of control are. Most of the people when they say that we should get our territories back tend to forget that it is not just about land but the people.

That was a fantastic answer. If India wants to get PoK and Aksai Chin then the target should be the freedom of Tibet. Also, in order to free Tibet India must closely work with the Quad. The South China Sea is going to flare up for sure in the future with the Taiwan issue and if this happens, USA is most probably gonna jump in. This could be a fantastic opportunity to take some action on the Northern Frontier when the Chinese are already occupied somewhere else.
The Chinese have always done something mischievous when the USA was preoccupied with something else, be it in 1962, 2017 or 2020. India should follow the same track.
