Since I'm allergic to coconut, yet am totally in love with South Indian cuisine, my neighbour made me these chutneys with idli. It was delicious !! I'll never forget her love and kindness. Great recipe from hebbars❤️

I tried the onion-tomato chutney today, my first time making this chutney and it was absolutely delicious! I wondered why I had not tried it all these years 😊 It was one of those rare occasions when I did not have phutani so I couldn't make the regular coconut chutney and I decided to try this one. I am sure glad I did. Thank you!

Add ginger in first one as well (with or without coconut), the taste increases twice. Plain version also tastes good.

I tried both the recipes step by step and they turned out really really well. Could not believe that it tastes so very like coconut chutney, even without any coconut. The red chutney is my fave though. Your recipes are wonderful! Keep them coming.

In Andhra in every household we used to make the same chutney..daily..it's really good by the way😋😋
Come to Andhra and you can have at least 20 varieties of chutneys at different places..I challenge you can't find the better taste anywhere in the world like that😋😋
