Here are the list of extensions that I use in FireFox:
1) Ublock Origin
2) SponsorBlock
3) Return Youtube Dislike Button
4) Dark Reader (for dark mode)
5) I don't care about Cookies (automatically blocks cookie popups)
6) TWP (Translate Web Pages) - selecting text on a web page lets you translate it right there without opening a new tab.

Firefox has been my main browser since 2006. I still remember Firefox 2. Chrome is nice as a secondary browser with no extensions for compatibility as on rare occasions, a niche website compatibility issue can be with Firefox (most likely due to my numerous content-blocking extensions on it.)

One of my favourite things about firefox is all your bookmarks, extensions, tabs, etc all are stored inside a single profile folder. If you want to move to different computer/OS/whatever simply copy and paste that folder, it's been so useful and saves a lot of time without having to setup everything from scratch.

A really good move from Firefox would be to provide their render engine easily to be integrated in other Programs. And while they're at it, also offer a Electron alternative with the Firefox rendering engine.

Or if you are on *Linux* - you can create completely separate firefox launcher menu instances based on your profiles, which you can later pin to your panel, home folder, etc. For example: Firefox (Profile 1), Firefox (Profile 2), Firefox (Profile 3) or whatever names you give them. You just have to manipulate the .desktop file. I've written detailed instructions on how to do that.

I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox. I had used it a little for the dev tools and checking CSS but now it’s my go to browser. It has some quirks for sure. The container system to manage multiple accounts could be better and it loads a little bit slower for me. But all in all I think it’s a great browser so far and the UI is very clean.

To start up a new Firefox instance with a specific profile the terminal command (on Windows you can also do this by pressing Win+R combination) is: "firefox -p <profile-name>" or for Windows: "firefox.exe -p <profile-name>". You can then go ahead and keybind this script to your liking, e.g. I switch between multiple profiles via Alt+1, Alt+2, etc.
