A very long rambling episode with a big mix of vocabulary, stories about my trip to Rome, comments from listeners, lots of thoughts about episodes I've published over the last 12 months, more advice about learning English, and a story about being Jackie Chan's English teacher.

When I came across Luke’s podcast 10 years ago I couldn’t imagine where it would lead me in my life. I had been listening to the episodes primarily just for personal entertainment when suddenly I realised that my level is good enough to start my own teaching career😂 I quit my 9 to 5 job and embarked on this journey shivering from fear of standing in class in front of other curious people waiting for me to teach them new stuff. Now I’m experienced and yet still have moments of impostor’s syndrome. Living my dream life in a new beautiful country and enjoying freedom mostly thanks to Luke and his way of delivering facts and jokes. Probably Luke will never see this post but he has thousands of grateful listeners who can relate to the abovementioned. Thank you and keep it up!

Thank you Luke for your valuable work. I discovered your Podcast through a recommendation. You speak very clearly, I understand you quite well. I enjoy the way howe you communicate . I didn’t like British English bevor, but now I do.
Pay attention to the positive comments that others simply ignore. ❤❤❤

The timer is a thoughtful touch and I had to say you are so nice and incredibly considerate to accommodate even most unreasonable request. You are just so nice.

Thanks, Luke for this as long as engaging episode.
I'm a 67-year-old lady; now, at the end of your "lesson" I'm not able to explain my feeling.
Unfortunately my Englis is not good enough! That's a reason of mine reason ( to be honest my main reason is completely different) I follow you!
In my humble opinion, you are a GREAT !!! Great teacher, great dad, great husband, long story short, a great person!

Hello Luke
Your episodes are the best because they're more than one hour, I persuade you to continue doing that. Much appreciated

Hi Luke,
First of all, congratulations for your gold creator award ! You definitely deserve it. I love your long episodes, which is one of your specificities. It's easy to stop and continue listening later, and it's also easy to listen to your long episodes in one go, cause you make them interesting and I never get bored ! I improved my understanding skills a lot with you, I haven't practiced my English for years now, and I do need to update my English, which I do with your videos. So thanks a lot Luke ! Take care.

In 2018, I traveled to the northernmost part of Siberia to teach kids in a small village. With only around 100 residents, there was no reliable mobile or internet connection, sometimes leaving me unable to communicate with family and friends for days. Fortunately, the school had Wi-Fi (not the fastest, but at least it was available) intended strictly for teaching purposes. I sneakily downloaded your podcast to my flash drive. It became a source of entertainment for me during the polar nights of winter. Thank you for brightening up my days, no matter where I am. You're the best Luke!❤

Hi Luke,

Have been listening to your podcast for three years now and I‘m still enjoying it a lot. Whenever you are curious about checking out a Somatic Therapy approach to our nervous system I‘d be more than happy to show you what that is about. For example exploring why negative comments still trigger us and how to get to a state we are so well connected to ourselves and eventually care less about somebody else’s opinion emotionwise…

You are doing good work. Period.

Greetings from Bavaria
