“Will Come Over And Take Jobs!” Starmer Considers 'Free Movement’ Between UK And Spain

Keir Starmer has reportedly spoke with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to about the a potential youth mobility scheme.

A scheme of such could allow free movement for young people between the two countries, allowing them to to live, study or work for a limited time.

It is reported that Starmer did not reject the proposal and told Sánchez he would consider it.

You all need to understand, a lot of 'jobs' posted are in fact fake vacancies. It's a way to keep workforces in line or stop them asking for more money. I used to work for a construction company who would keep vacancies open, yet never needed the workers. It made sure bricklayers, carpenters etc etc, never attempted to leverage more money. I know there will be people in the comments section who have worked in other sectors with this going on. It's very common. Take the hospitality sector, it's not a worker 'shortage' it's just that workers want more pay, so they advertise these jobs to keep them in line.

Spain still has some problems with attitudes to immigrants of different cultures and traditions. This could open a big can of worms if Spanish kids are unaware of the many uninvited cultures now in the UK.
