Wanna Break 90? Keep Your Head Down For Better Putting

Показать описание
Hey Quite The Chap here for GolfersRX. We all wanna see that ball roll in the hole…but what if we listened for it, in today’s video.
We all do it. We make a swing. We make a stroke. We pop out head up to see where the ball is going. And then we immediately say…”aaaah, i lifted my head!”. If we can keep our head still during our putting stroke we’re going to be a lot more consistent. Here is a super duper ridiculously simple way to practice keeping out head still.
* ball marker or a piece of tape or anything that can sit flat on the green
* place your ball on top of the marker
* make a putting stroke
* keep your eye on the marker until you hear the ball drop OR you don’t hear anything at all. Or maybe you hear the awwwww (sound effect) from the crowd.
The idea here is that you’re putting a system in place to make sure you keep your head down. How do you know if you keep you head down? You can read the writing on the ball marker after you make your STROKE. We’ve said it before, once the ball leaves the putter face, you don’t have any control no matter how much you bend or contort your face or twist your putter in your hand. Read the writing on your ball marker after you make your stroke.
Until next time, keep it simple
