I compare a new graphics card and a used graphics card that cost about the same. They very much aren't the same though.

I honestly didn't even know the 1630 even existed lol

I was expecting something more like the RX 580 8gb to take on the 1630(which I didn't even know existed until this video), but then I looked at the prices. 580s are going for under $100 on Newegg.

After upgrading to a 6750xt I put my Rx 5700 up for 120 bucks, that gpu got me through the gpu apocalypse and still runs games very well at 1440p.

Dawid's looking more and more like the guy behind the computer store and not the guy in the computer store. hehe

biggest yet less funny joke nvidia has ever pulled. I genuinely checked it wasn't April's fools the day Nvidia released this card.

CSGO has an anti-cheat that does not allow the game to launch if there is an overlay program like MSI afterburner running in the background

A good alternative would also be the RX 5700 XT. I have had mine for like 3 and a half years and it's still very capable.

I have this powercolor 6600 and it's brilliant - not just raw performance, but it's a quiet and cold card.

I recently helped my son build is first gaming PC out of some old parts and some new. I bought a brand new ASRock Phantom Gaming D Radeon RX 6500 XT for $160 and paired it with a AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (yes I know PCIE gen 3 woes). That card is silent, great air flow, and has played well over 120 fps (even above 300 in older titles) on Very High settings for everything I have tried. People crap on the card, for good reason, but for a first PC at sub $200 I have no complaints.

The RX 6600 and 5700 XT are basically twins performance wise, I have stuck to the RX 6600 for my last couple budget builds even if it costs a few extra dollars. The thought process is simple, its newer, less wear and tear from age, newer features like resizable bar, and driver support will last a bit longer.

That closing statement made me spit my coffee

The 1630 being what it is makes me feel so much better about the 6500XT that came in my PC.

I’m going to be upgrading ASAP

got a used 1080 ti FTW3 for right at $200 after the fees, shipping, and new PSU cable I had to buy.

Awesome upgrade, very happy, especially at 1080p.

Was even able to flip my gtx 1080 FE for $165 before fees

Got an RX 6600 on sale for $250 USD to replace my RTX 1650 Super and I love it. Have it hooked to a 4k LG TV and run the games I like to play in 4k on med to high settings without issue. Resident Evil 3 (Remastered) looked so realistic I couldn't tell the cut scenes from the actual game at the beginning. Very happy with the RX 6600.

"Buy used" is a great tip in general when it comes to gaming hardware. One thing is to go to the seller in person and test things out on the spot, maybe go with a seller to check with proffesionals. If seller has a problem with that, look somewhere else, but the market is very saturated and it's quite easy to find a good deal. I got brand new laptop with rtx3060 for literally half of the price, it had no windows so people complained (even better for me, fresh install with no bloat ) and he was trying to sell it for few months so he was willing to let it go for really low. I drove for it 3h total, completly worth the effort. The disc was working literally 5 hours which was probably some factory testing mostly. It's my 4th used laptop and I had issues with only 1 of them and that one was dirt cheap so can't really complain.

If anyone is confused about the GTA V bit in which stutters seem to be a good thing - stutters in this game happen when it runs at or very close to its built in frame cap, so it simply means that the card is too fast for the game, if that's a thing.
