Video released by the Israeli Police and the Israeli Security Agency appears to show the moment of rescue for three hostages inside Gaza. CNN cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video which was pre-edited and released to the media with blurs already in place. CNN political and global affairs analyst Barak Ravid shares his thoughts about the footage and CNN’s Paula Hancocks reports on what she has learned from a doctor leading the team treating the four rescued Israeli hostages. #CNN #news

If you keep HOSTAGES in your house, you are NOT a civilian.

We should talk about the fact that they were held hostage in a "journalist's" home...

It's insane that people don't think that Israel has the right to fight to get their people back that were stolen. The abduction was the crime not the rescue.

Al Jazeera journalist: *holds hostage*
ICC: I'm going to ignore that.

@2:10 - these 4 hostages were NOT RELEASED.

They were SAVED/RESCUED by the IDF.

It breaks my heart and makes my stomach turn that Noa was "kept" separately! I dont even want to think about what she suffered these horrifying months.

The hostages were held in a civilian families homes - Noa Argamani was held in a home of a doctor from Al-Shifa hospital. Shlomi, Andrei and Mayer were held in a home of Al Jazeera journalist. It’s very important to know that.

What’s interesting is the people that were holding them hostage were civilians one was a photo journalist and the other was a doctor, it tells me a lot about the people in Gaza
